After playing musical chairs with the salary cap on Saturday before their game against the Habs in order to have Jett Alexander backup Ilya Samsonov, Sheldon Keefe admitted on Sunday that he is still unsure of his roster ahead of the season-ending 3 game road-trip.

Following the Leafs' final practice of the season, Keefe was asked about having Joseph Woll recalled depending on the status of Matt Murray which he responded to by saying, "I'm not quite sure. There is a lot of stuff happening with that. Roster status is up in the air at this point in terms of what that would look like."

After Matthew Knies and the Minnesota Gophers lost the NCAA championship just seconds into overtime on Saturday, he returned to Minnesota following the game. Less than 24 hours later, he was hopping back on a plane to Florida to meet up with the Leafs after signing his ELC.

Following Sunday's practice, Keefe touched on how the Knies situation might impact his roster decisions. Keefe admitted that he wasn't too focused on Knies yet - particularly because he hadn't signed yet at that time.

"We'll see if or when we have to deal with that. I haven't thought about it a great deal. We have enough happening to keep me focused. He and his camp have some decisions to make. When those decisions are made, we will proceed accordingly," said Keefe when asked about the possibility of adding Knies to an already deep forward group.

With Knies joining the team in Florida, Keefe should have some updates following the Leafs' morning skate from Sunrise, South Florida ahead of tomorrow's game with the Panthers.
