The Caps/Leafs game on Thursday night has been a pretty chippy affair, with a lot of big hits, some chirping and a scrap between a couple of heavyweights in Tom Wilson and Kyle Clifford.

During the first period, Wilson took a run at Leafs goaltender Jack Campbell, which enraged the Leafs' bench. Wilson was sent to the box to serve a two-minute penalty for goaltender interference and when he stepped out onto the ice, Clifford was waiting for him to issue a challenge. Though Wilson did not oblige him in the first period, the two heavy hitters would eventually drop the mitts in the second period.

Clifford got the worst of the exchange, but he did land a few nice shots on Wilson, including the bomb that ended the fight. At the end of the day, you have to answer the bell, and credit to Wilson, he did man up eventually and allowed Clifford to do his job.
