Leafs announce preseason schedule, leading off with a split-squad double-header

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced their 2022 preseason schedule. Although the first exhibition game won't be until Saturday, September 24, it will be a double-header against the Ottawa Senators.
Toronto will play seven games during the preseason, with four taking place at Scotiabank Arena and three on the road, with one game being in nearby Belleville. The full schedule for preseason is listed below.
Saturday, September 24 - 2 pm ET, 7 pm ET (split-squad double-header) / vs. Ottawa / Scotiabank Arena (Toronto, ON)
Wednesday, September 28 - 7 pm ET / vs. Montréal / Scotiabank Arena (Toronto, ON)
Friday, September 30 - 7 pm ET / at Ottawa / Belleville, ON.
Monday, October 3 - 7 pm ET / at Montréal / Bell Centre (Montréal, QC)
Friday, October 7 - 7:30 pm ET / at Detroit / Little Caesars Arena (Detroit, MI)
Saturday, October 8 - 7 pm ET / vs. Detroit / Scotiabank Arena (Toronto, ON)
With the preseason schedule being released, it means that we're inching closer to a new hockey season and fans have something to be excited for again. The games can't start soon enough!
