After Semyon Der-Arguchinstev was unable to play very much in a penalty filled game Tuesday, he was reassigned to the Marlies before practice to free up a roster spot. In his absence, Denis Malgin draws back in on the fourth line alongside Zach Aston-Reese and Pontus Holmberg.
On the back end, the Leafs will fill SDA's roster spot and welcome back T.J. Brodie tonight after being out of action since November 12th with an oblique injury. Brodie will be paired with Conor Timmins on the third pair as the Leafs will ease him back into the lineup. Not only that, but with how well the parings of Mark Giordano/Justin Holl and Timothy Liljegren/Rasmus Sandin have been playing, there is no reason to tinker with them right now.
