On the heels of an incredible 60-minute effort in Florida that allowed the Leafs to extend the series and force a Game 5 in Toronto on Friday, head coach Sheldon Keefe spoke with the media on Thursday, confirming his starting goalie for Game 5 and touching on the injured Ilya Samsonov.

On his starter, Keefe has confirmed that he would indeed likely turn to Joseph Woll for Game 5 after his lights out performance in Game 4 - a game in which he only allowed one single goal against. Woll has allowed just 5 goals in total in 3 appearances in these playoffs.

On the injured Samsonov, Keefe couldn't offer much in the way of any timeline for his recovery. Keefe confirmed that Samsonov has not yet been back on the ice since suffering an upper-body injury in Game 3, which means that he's likely nowhere near ready to return to action. Samsonov suffered his upper-body injury in a collision with Luke Schenn in the early stages of the 2nd period on Sunday.

As far as Matt Murray goes, Sheldon Keefe told the media last night that he didn't think it would be fair to put Murray back in the net with elimination on the line after not playing for more than a month. Murray is 100% healthy and will play backup to Joseph Woll for what we can only assume is the remainder of this series against Florida.
