Ahead of tomorrow's home game against the Philadelphia Flyers after a rough road trip, the Leafs are looking to gain their first win in over a week. To do that, Sheldon Keefe has shaken up the team's defensive pairings for practice.

As seen above, Morgan Rielly was moved to the second defensive pairing; it's fair to assume that this is actually the first pair, as Rielly is the team's largest minute-muncher. Meanwhile, Justin Holl stayed paired with T.J Brodie, who normally takes up mantle next to Rielly on the team's top pair.

This was an interesting choice with Rasmus Sandin right there and available to partner with Brodie. Fans on Twitter have not been shy in expressing how they feel about these pairings.

We'll see tomorrow how effective these pairings are if they stay in place. But, hey, Timothy Liljegren and Jordie Benn are expected to return soon. So that's something to look forward to, right?
