Following the Toronto Maple Leafs' historic first-round series win on Saturday, the streets of Toronto went crazy in a frenzy that lasted well over an hour after the game had concluded. While the crowd seemed to be in control, one fan, in particular, was the exception.

In Maple Leaf Square outside of Scotiabank Arena, one fan allegedly slapped a police horse on its "hindquarters" and was later arrested for public intoxication. Luckily it was confirmed at a later time that nobody involved suffered any injuries.

The report states that the man was later released with a Provincial Offence Notice once he was sober and the dust had settled. It seems that no other fans were sturred in the mix of any other trouble and no further tickets or arrests were made in the general area of celebration.

The Leafs have advanced to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2004 (19 years) and chaos was bound to ensue because of the length of time that this fanbase has been starved for success. The team now shifts its focus to Tuesday when they will face off against the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of Round 2.
