Leafs forward addresses the idea of alien life, claims to have seen a real-life UFO
A number of years ago, former NHL goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov shared his fascination with the universe, and it appears as though he isn't the only one whose eyes are on the sky as a current Leaf shared an interesting tidbit about an experience that he had during his time in Tucson.
During a recent interview with Sportsnet's Steve Dangle, Leafs forward Michael Bunting revealed that a few years back, while he was with the Arizona Coyotes organization, he actually saw an unidentified flying object, that he believes was actually an alien spacecraft.
No, this is not a joke. Dangle had interviewed several Leafs, asking them a variety of questions, some fictitious, in a segment he called "Deep Thoughts". He asked the team about alien life, how they'd feel during a zombie apocalypse and more. Here's what Bunting had to say about his experience.
"I remember being in Tucson, AZ.. I saw something shoot across the sky and I couldn't explain what it was. I think it was an alien, just saying 'what's up?'" - Bunting on his apparent alien sighting
Honestly, there are a lot of people out there who claim to have had similar sightings and there are some pretty wild videos that exist out there that cannot be fully explained. Is it so far-fetched to think that a current NHLer may have had such an experience? Pretty wild.
