After being diagnosed with a shoulder injury last week, Adam Gaudette spent the past few days skating by himself. This morning, however, he took a step in the right direction by joining Group 1 on the ice for practice.

While that is a good sign, it would seem that he is still going to be out a little longer as he was seen skating in a non-contact red jersey during drills. The Leafs lost Jordie Benn and Carl Dahlstrom last night to further deplete their blueline. Jake Muzzin is skating with the main group as well but there is still no timetable for his return to game action.

A surprising change was spotted on the Leafs' roster sheet this morning as 2022 second round pick Fraser Minten was added to the injury list. A standout at camp so far, Minten was unlikely to make the team out of camp and was surely headed back to the WHL this weekend for the Kamloops Blazers' season opener.

For the fifth straight day, Pierre Engvall skated by himself as he continues to recover from an ankle/foot injury. He is scheduled to be reevaluated on Monday, at which point, the team will have a better idea as to when he may be able to return to practice.
