The Leafs are back in action tonight against the Florida Panthers in yet another important divisional matchup. Unfortunately for the club, there are expected to be several notable absences once again as an unspecified illness continues to work its way through the Leafs' locker room.

Originally, the Leafs appeared to be receiving some reinforcements at Tuesday's morning skate, with the return of Pontus Holmberg and Rasmus Sandin after missing Monday's session. Well, unfortunately, neither player is projected to play tonight as both young Swedes remained on the ice after the morning skate for some extra work - a typical indicator that they won't be in the lineup.

In addition, Wayne Simmonds also took on some extra work following Tuesday's morning skate, indicating that he's likely to come out of the lineup as well. In terms of how tonight's lines and D pairings will shape up, here's how things looked at practice yesterday. According to Sports Illustrated's David Alter, here's tonight's projected lineup.

The Panthers are winners of their last two outings, while the Leafs have lost in back to back games and are in need of a win tonight at home.
