Based on line rushes at today's practice, Sheldon Keefe has not tinkered with the lines that were so dominant Sunday. John Tavares continues to skate between Michael Bunting and Mitch Marner while Alexander Kerfoot remains in the second line center spot with Calle Jarnkrok and William Nylander. After he struggled in his only game at center on the second line, Pontus Holmberg finds himself on the fourth line for the second game in a row between Wayne Simmonds and Zach Aston-Reese and Joey Anderson has continued to do enough to earn the right wing slot on the Leafs' third line with David Kampf and Pierre Engvall.
On the blueline, Conor Timmins and Jordie Benn skated as extras once again as TJ Brodie was back in his usual place with Morgan Rielly who finally scored his first goal of the season Sunday evening. The remaining to pairs are unchanged as well, with Mark Giordano and Justin Holl paired together and Timothy Liljegren and Rasmus Sandin round out the third pair.
The Leafs will have to play one of, if not their best game of the season Wednesday when the Bruins visit as the Bruins are looking to snap their first and only multi-game losing streak of the season before heading into All-Star weekend.
