Leafs tease new Reverse Retro v2.0 jersey in short clip on Wednesday; could we be looking at another blue, black and white jersey?

Perhaps you'll recall the last reveal for the RR 1.0 Leafs jerseys. In the reveal, the Leafs actually teased the colours in the RR tag, showcasing the traditional blue and white, though the RR 1.0 did have grey accents.

Well, this time around, the Leafs RR 2.0 tag is black and blue. The Leafs revealed a short 13-second teaser clip on Wednesday, with a heavy blue and black presence, though the Adidas and Maple Leafs logos are displayed in the traditional white. Does this mean we could be looking at a blue, black and white variation of the '07 alternate??

It would make sense as just last week, the Leafs were spotted in black socks, gloves and helmets, much like what they had worn for the Next Gen game last season with the reversible Leafs/Justin Bieber (Drew House) collaboration.

Personally, I've spoken to a number of people so far who do not like the idea of another blue, black and white jersey. Personally, I think they nailed the black, blue and white side of the Drew House collab and would welcome a more traditional Leafs jersey with the dark spin on it. If they do indeed go with the '07 alternate in blue with black and white accents, I'm very intrigued to see how they went about it. It will almost certainly be a "take my money!" scenario if they turn out anything like I'm invisioning.
