Leafs to debut yet another new goal song tonight against Minnesota
During the Leafs' season opener on Wednesday, when Noah Gregor scored the first goal of the Leafs' 2023-24 season, many were expecting to hear the classic "You Make My Dreams (Come True)" by Hall & Oates. What they got, however, was a brand new goal song - "Pursuit of Happiness" by Kid Cudi.
The new goal track received mixed reviews, but thankfully, if you count yourself among the contingent of fans who didn't enjoy the Kid Cudi tune as the team's new goal song, you'll hear a different goal song tonight against Minnesota.
Per The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, the Leafs will be trying out a few different songs. On Monday against the Blackhawks, there will be yet another new track debuted.
As of this moment, we don't know what the new goal track tonight is going to be, but it's nice to see the Leafs shopping around for their new goal track and trying a few things on before settling on a permanent new goal song.
