While Benn and Liljegren were eligible to play 3 games for the Marlies on their conditioning stint, both were scratches on Saturday for the Marlies, which likely means, as TLN's Nick Barden points out, that their conditioning stint has come to an end.
With the Leafs set to end a 5-game road trip on Sunday in Anaheim, following their Saturday night tilt against the LA Kings, we'll either see Benn and Liljegren meet the team in Anaheim to play against the Ducks tomorrow or they'll remain in Toronto in anticipation of the team's return home to prepare for a Wednesday matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Arena on November 2nd.
With the tight turnaround time between tonight's game in LA and tomorrow's game in Anaheim, it might make sense to have a couple of fresh bodies come in for the Leafs, so if I was a betting man, I'd put my money on at least one of Benn or Liljegren playing tomorrow.
