For Luke Schenn, his Maple Leafs homecoming has been a whirlwind and a dream come true. Schenn has spoken highly of his time in Toronto since he left the first time around, but now that he's back as a veteran, he is much more appreciative of what it means to be a Leaf. He's also playing hard each and every time he draws in, doing whatever he can to prove that the Leafs were right to take a chance on him in this stage of his career.
Not only has Schenn scored a goal in tonight's game against his former team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, he also beat the brakes off of one of his former teammates in Pat Maroon. We knew "The Human Eraser" was one tough customer, but to see how he absolutely manhandled the 6-foot-3, 234 pound Maroon was really something.
