Marchand chirps star Leafs winger hard before offering several compliments
Ahead of tonight's Leafs and Bruins game, fans can expect tensions to be high with the top two teams in the Atlantic facing off against each other. The Leafs and Bruins have already played each other twice this season, each team having a win under their belt, and will play against each other a fourth time in April. We'll see which team gets the edge after tonight's game.
Given the history between Toronto and Boston's hockey teams, tonight is an Original Six matchup fans love watching. But one thing fans always pay attention to when it comes to the Bruins is Brad Marchand, specifically, as he is a notorious pest. Here's what he had to say about pestering the Leafs:
Marchand and Michael Bunting going at it is something I would love to see personally, but it also makes sense that not many Leafs guys bother with chirping. Although this comment is a slight jab at Mitch Marner, Marchand did go on to compliment the star winger.
Tonight's game is bound to be interesting, but it's unlikely there will be much chirping from it. But, hey, maybe this will be the night Marchand and Bunting finally get into it.
