Matthew, Marner, Nylander and Rielly play practical jokes on people in grocery store
The Toronto Maple Leafs have increased their social media activity exponentially since partnering with helmet sponsor, TikTok a couple of short years back. Not only does the team typically answer a series of ridiculous questions on the way to practice every week, but they've also played some funny pranks on one another, like last year's Tim Hortons guest employee feature, with William Nylander and Michael Bunting working at a Tim Hortons drive thru.
This year, the fun and games have continued, with Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Morgan Rielly and William Nylander playing practical jokes on shoppers at a local Sobey's in Toronto. The video below shows Matthews and Marner being directed to prank customers via ear-piece communication from Rielly and Nylander in the back - Impractical Jokers style.
As a long-time fan of the show "Impractical Jokers", I absolutely loved this from the four Leafs stars. It was a fun way to get people laughing before the start of what should be a very long regular season.
The Leafs kick off their 2023-24 campaign tomorrow night against the Montreal Canadiens.
