The Toronto Maple Leafs are in Pittsburgh on Saturday night to take on their former GM's new team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and after losing a heartbreaker last night to the Chicago Blackhawks, everyone is hoping for a huge rebound game from the Buds before they head back home to Toronto, where they'll host the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

The top line for the Leafs has been quiet of late, with Auston Matthews posting just 2 points in his last 5 games, while Mitch Marner is not much better, only having tallied 3 assists over that same span. Thankfully for the Leafs, their 3rd line of Nick Robertson, Max Domi and Calle Jarnkrok has been absolutely on fire.

Since moving to center, Domi has really begun to find his groove, posting 5 assists over his last 5 games. Unfortunately, he appears to be nursing a bit of an injury right now. In the images below, you can clearly see Domi wearing a splint on the pinky finger of his left hand.

It's unclear how long Domi has been playing through the injury. Perhaps it was something that occurred on the road trip in Sweden last weekend. It may have even been a new injury from yesterday afternoon's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

We don't yet know if Domi will miss any time as a result of the injury. Judging by the fact that he's playing tonight in Pittsburgh, perhaps it's minor and something that he'll be able to play through and avoid missing any time. Since he has recently found his groove, that would certainly be a good thing.
