All eyes were on Leafs superstar Mitch Marner last night during the Leafs' game against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Everyone wanted to see if Mitch could extend his scoring streak to 24 games. Well, unfortunately, he could not and the streak ended at 23 games - still very respectable. Marner has also produced points in 28 of the Leafs' 31 games this season, which is pretty incredible when you stop and think about it.

Now that the streak is over, Marner was asked post-game about his ridiculous mustache and whether or not he'd keep it going or shave it off. His reply was pretty funny, to say the least.

"It's coming off right now. It's gross." - Marner on his thin, greasy mustache that he maintained throughout the 23-game point streak

Marner had joked earlier in his sensational run that his fiancee seemed to love his 'stache, but it seems as though Marner did not feel the same way about it, since he can't wait to get rid of it. Some guys can pull off the look - such as teammate and friend Auston Matthews - and some guys just can't do it. There's no shame in Marner throwing in the towel here.
