We're just over a month into the official free agency part of the off-season and former Leaf and Stanley Cup Champ Nazem Kadri has yet to find a home for next season. There have been multiple reports about various teams making a push for him, with the Islanders appearing to be the frontrunners at this point, and Kadri appears to be waiting for potential suitors to open up cap space.

While Kadri and his agent continue to work on finding him a new home, the Stanley Cup has been making temporary homes amongst his Avs teammates as they each get their day with the Cup. Kadri is scheduled to have his day with the Cup on August 27th and according to local reporters in London, Ontario, Kadri will be taking the Cup to a place it has never been.

Kadri will begin his day with the Cup at the London Muslim Mosque around noon. This will be the first time the Cup will have been to a Mosque, and is quite a monumental moment for Kadri and the NHL.

The rest of Kadri's day with the Cup has not yet been released, but we do know it will be filled with friends and family. Congrats Naz and to the entire Muslim community, enjoy the celebration!
