The officials have shown their incompetence once again on Tuesday, as the penalty scaling has favoured the Tampa Bay Lightning once again in this series.

After called a trio penalties against the Leafs, two of which were certainly suspect, the officials had a great opportunity to get one right after Nick Paul leveled Leafs winger Michael Bunting from behind with a late hit right in the numbers along the boards. No such call was made. Here's the play in question.
The Bolts have been gifted 5 or more power plays in 3 of the 4 games they've played in the series thus far, with 3 already having been awarded to the Bolts in Game 5. This time of the year, the officials have historically put the whistles away. However, in this series, it seems like a penalty is being called every other shift. Nevertheless, in a series where you're calling everything, this one HAS to be called..
**Update, in the time it took to write this, the Leafs have been awarded a pair of power play opportunities to draw even with the Bolts in penalty scaling.. perhaps I should keep writing..**
**Update, Mitch Marner issued a penalty just a few seconds into the Leafs' power play.. very soft call..**
