The Battle of Ontario was raging on Saturday night with the Leafs pulling off a massive overtime win in enemy territory, thanks to a controversial no-goal call against the Sens.

The officials intended to blow the whistle when Erik Kallgren had the puck underneath his pad at the moment that former Leaf Connor Brown came in hard for the jam play to knock the puck in the net. After a very brief review, the call on the ice stood, and play would continue. On the very next shift, Mark Giordano ripped one home for the Leafs on the partial break thanks to a BEAUTIFUL stretch pass from William Nylander.

Giordano now has 8 points in 13 games for the Leafs since coming over from Seattle and the Leafs have tied a franchise record with their 49th win of the season, moving to 104 points - just one off of another franchise record of 105 points set during the Mike Babcock era.
