It was a rough affair between the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, and for Lightning forward Pat Maroon in particular.
During the game, Maroon took a run at Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin, which Blueshirts defender Ryan Lindgren did not like very much. Maroon appeared to get off easy after his run in with Lindgren, but the Rangers would respond again not long after.
Ryan Reaves, the self-proclaimed king of the jungle, took it upon himself to dispense some justice, as he locked up with Maroon for a heavyweight tilt.
Obviously, the Rangers were not too happy with Maroon, and even after mixing it up with two Rangers, I still think Maroon got off easy. If these two teams happen to meet at some point in the playoffs, there could be fireworks.
