When Petr Mrazek signed his three year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs this offseason it was supposed to be for a major role.
Mrazek was supposed to be part of a 1A-1B goalie tandem the Leafs needed with
Jack Campbell, with some even speculating he would be next year's starter if they lost Campbell to free agency.
However so far the Leafs and Leafs' fans hardly know him. That's because Mrazek has played in just two games, one of them only featured two periods because of injury.
His first start was October 14th where he was injured and came back for one game on October 30th before going back on IR.
So far the goalie has registered a 4.20 goals against average and .877 save percentage.
"It's frustrating. Hopefully it's going to have a great end. It's early in the season. The season's long.
"Happy to be back, I can tell you that."
Mrazek is longing to get back in between the pipes and prove to his teammates and Leafs' fans what he's got.
