According to former NHL goaltender and current analyst for Daily Faceoff, Mike McKenna, the Flyers will likely be turning to Felix Sandstrom when they face the Buds on Wednesday. Carter Hart will draw in against the Rangers tonight in the first of back-to-back games for the Flyers.
Sandstrom has never won an NHL game, sporting an 0-6-1 record. His .907sv% suggests he should have a win by now, it just hasn't come together for him. The Leafs have a 6-1-1 record against the Flyers over the past 3 years. To the casual observer, this game seems like an absolute slam dunk for the Leafs.
