The Leafs remain busy both on the ice and behind the scenes in February, with a report on Monday confirming that the Leafs are linked to at least 5 potential deadline targets.

Per The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, sources have confirmed that the Leafs have kicked tires on Seattle Kraken captain Mark Giordano and winger Calle Jarnkrok, Columbus Blue Jackets pest Max Domi, Anaheim Ducks winger Rickard Rakell and Winnipeg Jets winger Andrew Copp.

After the Ilya Lyubushkin trade, it appears as though the Buds had turned the majority of their attention to finding some help on the wing, so it will be interesting to see how those plans might change if Jake Muzzin misses significant time after suffering an injury on Monday night after colliding with Montreal Canadiens defender Chris Wideman.

It's not out of the question that Dubas may be able to pull off multiple moves to address a variety of needs if Muzzin heads to LTIR for the rest of the season, but until we know what Muzzin's health status is, we can't speculate too much.

Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe is expected to address the media late Tuesday afternoon, so hopefully we'll have some more clarity on Jake Muzzin. If he is expected to miss significant time, it will be interesting to see how hard the Buds push to acquire Kraken captain Mark Giordano.
