Rumour: The Habs, Blue Jackets, and Devils working on three-way trade involving a Habs player and multiple picks
Take this with a grain of salt, but according to a "consultant" with Central Scouting, the Habs, Devils and Blue Jackets could be working on a three way deal that would involve draft picks and a Habs forward.
According to the "rumours" the 2nd overall pick of NJ could be in play for Columbus, and their 6th overall pick could be in play. Montreal may also be interested Columbus' 12th overall selection. It is unclear who the Habs forward involved in the deal would be, but it would seem that the Habs are willing to move the 26th overall pick and a forward to move up and have 2 selections in the top 15.
Should these rumours be true, it will be intriguing to see all of the moving pieces. Of course, with the Habs hosting this year's draft they will undoubtedly be looking to give their fans as much to cheer about as possible from the draft floor at the Bell Centre.
