Rasmus Sandin is back in the Leafs lineup after sitting out Wednesday's game against the Coyotes due to salary cap reasons. The 20-year-old Swede is still technically a rookie, but he's already looking like a veteran defender on the Leafs' blue line this season.

While Sandin wasn't necessarily happy missing the game, he says that he understands. According to Sandin the Leafs have 7 very good defensemen, and it's only fair that they rotate to get everyone some ice time. He did say, however, that he is very excited to be back in the lineup against St Louis.

When asked if this road trip had taught him anything, Sandin didn't talk about ways to improve his play, or better prepare for these road games. What did he learn, exactly? Well, to bring his own pillow. How wholesome is that?

"I can't wait to get home to my own bed, my own pillow especially," Sandin said.

Evidently it's much more comfortable than the ones the hotels provide. Leaving it at home ended up being a rookie mistake. As trivial as it may sound, we've all had those days when we wake up after not sleeping well and just aren't feeling at 100% all day. It's no surprise that with the nickname «Sandman» that Sandin values a good night's sleep.

Puck drop tonight will be at 7:00PM ET, a welcome change from the 10PM starts from the Western swing the last 2 games.
