The Ontario government just announced that the capacity for major sporting events will be reduced drastically.
The Leafs, Sens and Raptors will now play at just 50% as the world deals with the new omicron varian of COVID.
With the ScotiaBank arena at full capacity lately, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment will have to pivot and they said they'll provide details to ticket holders within the next 24 hours.
On top of the reduced capacity, stricter mask mandates will be in place starting on Saturday.
"I know this will be tough, but it's an important step in ensuring we slow the spread of Omicron as we urgently accelerate boosters because, as I said earlier, it's all hands on deck," Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday.
