The Leafs are spending the next few days in Northern Ontario, specifically Gravenhurst as they have done the past few seasons. This is typically where the main roster gets the chance to do some team-building activities outdoors in between practicing. The Leafs brought 30 players with them, which includes the injured John Tavares, Pierre Engvall and Timothy Liljegren.

While the Leafs brought most of the remaining players at camp to Gravenhurst, there are a number of players that remained in Toronto working with development staff. Mikko Kokkonen, SDA, Bobby McMann, Joey Anderson, Nick Abruzzese, Marshall Rifai, Mac Hollowell and Dylan Ferguson all remained back in Toronto.

Though nothing is official, it would appear that the players listed above will be part of the next round of cuts. Additionally, Kyle Clifford, Alex Steeves, Wayne Simmonds, Pontus Holmberg and Adam Gaudette were participating in practice wearing grey jerseys. As we've seen for years, the grey jerseys at practice often mean that those players are extras and/or healthy scratches.

For those in grey jerseys it could mean that they are just not playing in the first game this weekend, or it could mean that they are likely on their way to the Marlies as well. The Leafs will return to Toronto on Friday before wrapping up their pre-season with their final two games this weekend.
