Several fights break out among fans after Leafs were eliminated by the Lightning
Leafs fans are absolutely gutted right now and who can blame them? The Buds took it to Tampa over a full 7-game series and played well enough to have won the series. Unfortunately, the end result was not the desired one and Andrei Vasilevskiy shut the door in Game 7, sending the Bolts to round 2.
Following the Leafs' loss at home, tensions were running high and several fights broke out between disgruntled fans at Scotiabank Arena.
I'm sure we'll hear plenty of jokes about how these guys showed more fight than the Leafs in Game 7 or things of a similar nature, but I'm not disappointed with how the Leafs played, I'm disappointed with the result. I think that's probably what happened here as well. Leafs fans feeling let down, upset and done with all of the disappointment.
Still.. show some restraint boys. Or, at the very least, fight fans of the opposing team..
