The Leafs are right back at it on Saturday after a loss last night against the Pittsburgh Penguins, with Erik Kallgren allowing 3 goals against on just 22 shots. In 7 appearances so far this season, Kallgren has only recorded 1 win. He has posted an .886 save percentage in that time. Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe announced on Saturday that he's going right back to Kallgren in rare back-to-back starts.

Goaltenders Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov are still unavailable. Murray has been dealing with an injury to his adductor and has only appeared in one game so far this season. As for Samsonov, he injured his knee last Saturday against the Boston Bruins and remains on IR for the time being, though his injury does not appear to be serious.

Backing up Kallgren, once again, will be 23-year-old Keith Petruzzelli. Petruzzelli, the Leafs' 5th string goaltender, has not played a game in the NHL. For one reason or another, Keefe and the goaltending staff do not believe Petruzzelli is ready for NHL action. In six games for the AHL Toronto Marlies this season, he has posted an impressive .922 save percentage.

The Leafs won't be facing a heavy mis-match in goal, however, as Canucks starter Thatcher Demko gets the night off. Starting in goal for the Canucks tonight will be the Oakville native, Spencer Martin. The 27-year-old Martin has appeared in 4 games this season, recording 3 wins and a .900 save percentage.
