The Leafs, fresh off of a disappointing 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night's Hall of Fame game, are right back at it on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks. We know that the Buds are going right back to Erik Kallgren in net in rare back-to-back starts, which should give the Swedish netminder a boost of confidence after he was visibly distraught following Friday's loss.

Sheldon Keefe spoke with the media on Saturday, revealing that, at this point, he's expecting to dress the same roster as Friday, with one caveat. There will be a game-time decision made on defense, with veteran Jordie Benn potentially drawing in and making his Leafs debut.

Benn has been sidelined since the preseason with a groin injury, but did skate with the Marlies in 4 games during his recent conditioning stint, notching 1 goal and 1 assist.

Wayne Simmonds skated briefly this morning and it had originally appeared as though he could draw back into the lineup, but as we now know, that's not the case. In each of the last two back-to-back scenarios, Keefe has made some roster tweaks, so it's a bit of a shock that he hasn't done the same this time around.
