After playing a season-low 6:32 in Los Angeles and 8:02 in Anaheim, Robertson was a healthy scratch for Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers and last night's 2-1 win over the Boston Bruins.
Robertson has just 2 points, both assists, in his last 5 games, which is well below the bar that he set for himself when he scored 2 goals (OT winner) in his season debut against the Dallas Stars back on October 20th. The Leafs will be expecting more from Robertson going forward, as well they should. If he wants to be a permanent fixture in the Leafs' top six, it's going to require top six level production.
Keefe also confirmed that the Buds could be looking at one additional roster change. While he did not tip his hand as to who might be drawing in, Keefe did state that the decision will be made following warmups. I'd imagine that since Robertson and Pontus Holmberg were the scratches last night, the game-time decision may be Holmberg. There's also a chance that it's Victor Mete, who has been skating with the team as an extra.
