During the late stages of the third period, with the Leafs up 3-2 and about 6:45 to go, the Tampa Bay Lightning were pushing hard to tie the game and send it to overtime. Bolts captain Steven Stamkos took a cross-ice pass from Nikita Kucherov and unloaded a one-timer on the powerplay that was labelled for the twine. Much to his dismay, Jack Campbell was able to get across with a quick lateral move to make the save and wrangle the rebound to alleviate the pressure.

This was just one of a number of 10-bell saves that Campbell made during the game to keep the Leafs ahead, and thanks to his stellar play and late-game heroics, his team did not relinquish the lead once throughout the course of the game.

After the game, there was no downplaying the shot by Stamkos, who had absolutely no qualms with giving Campbell his due. Stamkos, one of the most humble players in the game had this to say of the shot and the save following the home loss.

"I got everything [on the one-timer] and then some. It was a great save."

While Tampa head coach Jon Cooper didn't want to give Campbell too much credit following the Leafs' win, the Bolts' captain is not under any false pretenses. He knows full well that Campbell is a quality goaltender, despite his midseason struggles, and knows that the Bolts are going to have to work for everything that they get in this series.

Props to Stamkos for his sportsmanship. He's a true class act.
