The Tampa Bay Lightning came up short in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Rangers on Wednesday, being handed a 6-2 loss and falling behind in the series early.

While the Bolts were dismantled on the scoreboard, they certainly were not going to be manhandled on the ice, making sure to let the Rangers know that from here on out, it's not going to be easy. With time winding down in the third period and less than 2 minutes remaining, the Bolts and Rangers locked up for some post-whistle extracurricular activity and boy, did it get heated.

That's playoff hockey, baby! I had a bit of a laugh at Wes McCauley just backing off and taking a front row seat to watch the chaos unfold with his hands on his hips.

In the end, 22 minutes in penalties were handed out on the play, all for roughing, except for Filip Chytil who got 2 for Cross checking. Surprisingly, there were no misconducts handed out.
