The New York Islanders reportedly have a deal lined up for top free agent forward Nazem Kadri, with the only thing stopping the official announcement being the need to free up the cap space for the former Leaf. Fortunately for the Islanders, they may have found a team willing to, take on a contract.

According to Boston Hockey Now's Jimmy Murphy, the Montreal Canadians have expressed interest in former first round pick Anthony Beauvillier. Trading Beauvillier would free up $4.15 million dollars in cap space for the Islanders, leaving more than enough room for them to make the Nazem Kadri deal official, if they do indeed have a handshake deal in place.

Anthony Beauvillier, 25, is coming off of a season that saw him post 12 goals and a career high 22 assists for a total of 34 points in 75 games. Beauvillier was drafted by the Islanders in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft with the 28th overall pick.
