The Vegas Golden Knights unveil new Stanley Cup rings and they're absolutely flawless
It only took the Vegas Golden Knights 6 seasons to win a Stanley Cup, making the Toronto Maple Leafs' 56-year Stanley Cup drought look that much worse. The Golden Knights surged past the Florida Panthers in Game 5 of the Cup Final, blowing their opponent out 9-3 to secure the first Stanley Cup in franchise history this past June.
Obviously, the ceremonial Stanley Cup laps are a cool tradition. So, too, is the ritual of spending a day with Lord Stanley's epic chalice. Perhaps the biggest honour is a player's name being etched into the Stanley Cup for all eternity, but there's also another very cool honour that comes with winning hockey's greatest prize - the iced out Stanley Cup rings that players receive to commemorate their victory.
On Monday, the Golden Knights officially revealed their new Stanley Cup rings and the design is beyond cool and actually contains a very unique feature; a detachable top that players can opt to wear as a pendant. That's not all! The inside of the ring contains a mini diorama of T-Mobile Arena, with markers for all 9 goals that the Golden Knights scored during their championship winning Game 5.

I'll admit, I'm always a sucker for the Stanley Cup ring designs, but these ring designs from "Jason of Beverly Hills" are probably the coolest I've seen yet. I love the pendant feature, as the rings themselves are very bulky and cannot be worn in all situations, whereas a pendant can.
Congrats to the Golden Knights, but hopefully at this time next year, the Maple Leafs will be unveiling ring designs of their own that put the Golden Knights' rings to shame. (A guy can dream, right?)
