This insane David Kampf/Leafs stat is actually pretty impressive
David Kampf scored a key goal for the Leafs last night against Ottawa late in the second period to tie the game at one. It seemed to kickstart the Leafs as they dominated the third en route to a 3-2 win.
Kampf has never been known for his goal scoring prowess, but when he does score the Leafs seem to win - Every. Single. Game. With his goal last night, including the 2 playoff games that he scored in, the Leafs have now improved to 14-0-0 when Kampf finds the back of the net. Even Sheldon Keefe took notice.

Skating on the fourth line with Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Zach Aston-Reese, the trio has become a physical presence for the Leafs and have had a decent start to the season. Not only are they handful along the boards in the offensive zone, but they're defensively responsible and kill penalties as well. It was nice to see the line be rewarded for their hard work.
