Tom Wilson throws out the celly and then realizes he was just robbed by Forsberg
Someone call the cops, because we have a CRIME to report in Washington, as Capitals winger Tom Wilson was robbed blind by Ottawa Senators goaltender Anton Forsberg.
The play occurred inside of the first 5 minutes of the 2nd frame when Wilson came streaking toward an empty far side of the net and received a RIDICULOUS pass from center Evgeny Kuznetsov. Wilson rifled the puck toward the twine and began to celebrate while skating around the net, before realizing that Forsberg had made a spectacular save.
What an outrageous stop that was! Forsberg has found a high level of confidence in his time with the Sens and to have gotten across to make an acrobatic save like that when he was pretty much out of the play.. it was pure magic.
What an absolutely LARCENOUS save!
