Two more Leafs games postponed
Per an announcement from Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman warning of some potential postponements and alterations to the schedule for some Canadian teams due to attendance limits, the Leafs have had two of their upcoming games officially postponed.
According to the Leafs' official Twitter account, a January 3rd meeting with the Carolina Hurricanes and a January 6th meeting with the Montreal Canadiens will be rescheduled to happen at a later date.
The news is probably a blessing in disguise for the Leafs, who still have 7 NHL regulars out of the lineup in COVID-19 protocol. The remaining Leafs in protocol are as follows:
As of this moment, the Leafs' games against the Ottawa Senators on January 1st and against the Edmonton Oilers on January 5th are still expected to go ahead as planned.
