Vegas could look to move starting goaltender
Logan Thompson and Adin Hill have done an outstanding job to begin the season for Vegas, which comes as a surprise for many across the league as everyone believed that Vegas would struggle at the position without Robin Lehner who is out for the season following off-season surgery.
Given how well Hill and Thompson have done so far, questions have begun to arise about the future of Lehner in Vegas and whether he will be a Golden Knight next season. Dan Rosen of NHL dot com reports that Vegas could explore moving Lehner in the off-season if Thompson and Hil continue to play as well as they have for the remainder of the season.
Lehner has a cap hit do $5M for the next two seasons and may be difficult to move due to his injury history. In order to move him, if they choose to, Vegas will likely have to retain some salary to increase the return.
