Time flies, as they say. It doesn't feel like that long ago when a baby-faced William Nylander was called up after the trade deadline in 2016. 394 games later, William Nylander scored his 300th career NHL point.
The point came on a beautiful no-look pass that resulted in the end of Mitch Marner's powerplay goal draught.
It took some time to get going after his infamous holdout, but once he did, Nylander has shown steady progression in his game year over year, culminating in a very strong 2021-22 season for the Swedish winger.
Making just $6.9 million, Nylander has one of the best-value contracts in hockey. Congrats on 300, Willy, here's to 300 more!
