With Nick and Jason Robertson facing off for the first time tonight, mom chooses her side
After being a healthy scratch for Sunday's Heritage Classic, Nick Robertson will draw back into the lineup Tuesday night skating alongside Kerfoot and Nylander as the Leafs welcome the Dallas Stars to town.
It'll be a special night for Robertson, who is set to face his brother Jason for the first time in the NHL. As Nick continues to attempt to establish himself as a full time NHLer, brother Jason is having a breakout season in Dallas, having registered 30 goals and 55 points already.
When asked about his brother's production and breakout season, Nick stated that he hopes he is able to follow in Jason's footsteps. Those are some big footsteps to follow, given that Jason has about 4 inches and 30 pounds on Nick.
With the brothers set to face each other tonight for the first time you might wonder who their parents are cheering for. Well, their mom just got one of Nick's jerseys so it's clear that he's the favourite child and will be cheering for him to outshine his brother tonight, like the rest of Leafs nation. Why is the younger one always the favourite?
