Bogosian was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2020-21, and still has many close friends on the team. While it can be fun to play against your friends, the playoffs have a tendency to be much more of a battle and in those post-whistle scrums, a guy like Bogosian thrives on creating some chaos and standing up for his teammates. Sometimes, that can mean man-handling one of your buds.
So how does Bogosian try to separate his personal life from the game? Well, for starters, the veteran blueliner revealed on Sunday that he has had absolutely no contact or communication with anyone from his former team during this series.
The "all business" approach is likely the best route to take for Bogosian, especially with his team down 2-1 in the 7-game series. I'd expect the intensity begin to ramp back up and for Bogo to be a huge part of that for the Lightning. That could mean laying big hits on the likes of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Morgan Rielly, or his former captain, John Tavares.
