It was a huge topic a couple of months ago but died down a bit since then, the Auston Matthews disorderly conduct charge. Matthews was accused of dropping his pants and grabbing his buttocks towards a female security guard in Arizona. Now, according to Sportsnet the case been dismissed. Matthews came under fire because he kept everything secret from the Toronto Maple Leafs and their "problem solvers". There was even some speculation that the whole thing took him out of the running for team captaincy. It's been pointed out that under Arizona Law, "an individual who is accused of a misdemeanour offence has the ability to settle the matter by coming to a financial agreement in exchange for the criminal case's conclusion."Good to hear we can all forget about this now.
