Bad News Regarding John Tavares Injury.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs got a tough blow this morning. All-Star forward John Tavares was injured during practice at the World Championships. Tavares was supposed to be a key part of Team Canada's quest for gold however left the ice at practice. Head coach Alain Vigneault said that Tavares suffered an upper body injury and had no further update. Well it's not looking good. According to Kristen Shilton of TSN, Tavares is on his way back to Toronto to be evaluated by Leafs' medical staff. Apparently looking like an oblique injury at the moment. More to come.
