BREAKING Auston Matthews Makes Statement Regarding Court Case.

"It's been all over the news cycle and social media for the last 24 hours, Auston Matthews and disorderly conduct. The incident has been confirmed, the court case dug up, the police report, the Leafs' released a statement and it's a continuous growing story. Now it's Auston Matthews turn. The forward took part in morning practice and is expected to play tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. After practice, Matthews made a statement to the media but wouldn't take any questions. «I regret any of my actions that put a distraction on the team or distress on any individual. I take a lot of pride in preparing for the season and representing the Toronto Maple Leafs as best I can.»
