"The Toronto Maple Leafs have started to turn things around after a bit of a slump and many believe it's because of the change in goalies. Jack Campbell has taken over for Frederik Andersen who was heavily struggling. While Andersen said he was playing injured he had only given up 3 or less goals in 2 of his last 9 starts.Head coach Sheldon Keefe announced he'll have a chance to heal up. Keefe told reporters that Andersen will be sidelined for a minimum of 7-10 days and possibly longer. The goalie is currently labelled as "day to day". Campbell only has 4 starts this season but carries a beautiful 1.00 goals against average along with a .965 save percentage.
Frederik Andersen is out at least seven to 10 days, Sheldon Keefe says. Including the time he's missed so far. Calls him day-to-day. Jack Campbell in tomorrow. — James Mirtle (@mirtle) March 24, 2021
