The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to make a move in the next couple of days as with COVID numbers rising across Canada there's no guarantee the government shortens the 14 day quarantine period. We've heard the Leafs are heavily targeting a forward and ideally finding one that could jump into the top six. However with Frederik Andersen struggling and Jack Campbell looking like he's ready to take off, another play could be to shore up their goalie situation. General manager Kyle Dubas has recently been creating cap space with his taxi squad games and we could see more than just a forward added. In fact NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reveals that there's been a connection between the Leafs and Los Angeles Kings when it comes to a goalie. Friedman reports that Jonathan Quick's name has been rumoured to Toronto and "Quick's fiery, competitive nature is the temperament Toronto likes; he's tight with Jack Campbell; and the Leafs and Kings do deals together."Quick would have to go through quarantine and there would be some concerns about picking up his contract that carries two more years with an AAV of $5.8million. Do you think a Quick-Campbell tandem could lead the Leafs to better playoff success?
